Do I have to do every step?

No. Five of the eight are not marked 'Optional later': setting up the company (already done if you're here), creating a branch, completing your dealer profile, adding your first vehicle, and creating your first lead. The other three — inviting your team and the two imports — you can skip and come back to.

I completed a step but it shows as not done. Why?

The page checks live counts in your tenant. If you just created something on another tab, refresh this page. The team-member step counts as done only when you've invited at least one person besides yourself.

Where do I find this page later?

It's reachable from the sidebar under Getting Started. Pilot tenants typically use it for the first week of onboarding and then ignore it — but it's always there if you want to verify setup status.

Reading the Progress Bar

The bar at the top shows how many of the eight setup steps you've completed. The percentage is informational — you don't have to hit 100% to use ShowOps. Optional steps (like inviting team members or importing leads) count toward the total too, but you can skip them and come back later.

Recommended Next

The blue 'Recommended Next' card highlights up to three pending steps to tackle now. ShowOps picks them based on what's missing and what unlocks the most value — usually the branch, first vehicle, and first lead. Click any tile to jump straight to that screen.

What the Checklist Covers

The eight steps, in the order they appear, are: set up your company, create your first branch, invite your team (optional), complete your dealer profile, import existing stock via Smart Import (optional), add your first vehicle manually, import leads (optional), and create your first lead. Each step shows a short rationale ('why now') and a direct link.

After You Finish

Once a step is done it's marked with a green check and crossed out. You can return to this page any time from the sidebar to review what's done and pick up where you left off. There's no submit button at the end — completing the steps simply puts you in a working state where the rest of ShowOps becomes useful.
