Deal Documents

Print-ready dealership documents generated from the deal's data — deal sheet, sale contract, delivery note, finance quotation, and refund request. This surface renders the document for preview and print; saved copies live as individual document records under the deal.

Available Document Types

ShowOps generates five document types: Deal Sheet (internal summary used during negotiation), Sale Contract (the buyer-signed agreement), Delivery Note (handover record at vehicle pickup), Finance Quotation (terms shared with a financing bank), and Refund Request (initiates a refund workflow on a closed-won deal). Each type pulls from the deal, vehicle, and dealer compliance profile.

Opening and Printing

From the deal page, use the Generate Document dropdown and pick a type — that lands you on this page with the chosen document rendered. Use the Print button at the top to send it to a printer or save as PDF. The toolbar and navigation are hidden during print so only the document body is captured.

Preview vs. Saved Documents

This page is a live preview — it always reflects the current deal data. If you need a permanent record (for example, a signed contract that mustn't change later), use the 'New' action to save a snapshot. Saved documents have their own detail page, can be marked Final, and can be signed using the signature pad.

Where the Content Comes From

Customer name, phone, prices, and notes come from the deal. Vehicle details (make, model, VIN, plate, color, mileage, stock number) come from the linked vehicle in inventory. Dealer info, warranty defaults, VAT settings, and the proprietor/bank fields come from your organization compliance profile. If a field prints blank, fix it at its source — there is no inline editing on this preview.

Common questions

What's the difference between this and the Tax Invoice?
The Tax Invoice is a separate document workflow with bilingual headers, configured VAT lines, and immutability rules. Confirm the applicable legal and tax treatment with your adviser. Operational templates such as contracts, delivery notes, and quotations are managed separately.
Can I edit the document before printing?
Not directly. To customize fields, use the 'New' flow which opens a form pre-filled with the deal data; you can adjust values there and save. The preview here always reflects the deal record as-is.
Why is a document type missing from the dropdown?
Some document types are gated by deal stage (e.g. Refund Request only appears on closed-won deals) or by the dealer compliance profile (e.g. Finance Quotation requires bank details). Check the deal stage and your organization settings if a type is missing.
