New Document

Create a saved snapshot of a deal document. The form is pre-filled from the deal, vehicle, and dealer compliance profile — adjust any field, then save to create an immutable record that can be marked Final, signed, and re-printed later.

Pre-Filled Fields

ShowOps fills in customer name, phone, prices, vehicle details (make/model/year/VIN/plate/color/mileage), dealer name, CR number, warranty terms, delivery date, and proprietor/bank details where applicable. Anything blank in the source records will be blank here too — fix at the source if a field is consistently missing.

What to Review Before Saving

Check the agreed price, delivery date, mileage at delivery, and any free-text fields specific to this document type (refund reason, finance terms, etc.). Once saved as Draft you can re-print and re-edit through the New flow if needed, but marking it Final locks the snapshot.

After You Save

Saving lands you on the saved document's detail page. From there you can print, mark Final, capture a customer signature, or — for refund requests — record an approval. The document also appears in the deal's documents list for easy retrieval.

Common questions

Why is the vehicle field blank?
The document needs the deal to be linked to a vehicle in inventory. If the deal was created without a linked vehicle, the vehicle fields will be blank. Open the deal, link a vehicle, then come back and create the document.
Can I save without printing?
Yes. Saving creates the record; printing is a separate action you can do later from the saved document's detail page. Many dealers save first, get the deal stage right, then print.
