Smart Import

Use AI to import vehicles from any Excel file — no template needed. The system automatically detects columns, maps data, and matches branches.

AI Column Detection

Smart Import uses AI to analyze your spreadsheet and automatically identify which columns contain vehicle data like make, model, year, price, and VIN. It works with any column naming convention — even Arabic headers or abbreviated names. Review the detected mappings before proceeding.

Multi-Sheet Detection

If your Excel file has multiple sheets, Smart Import detects all of them and lets you choose which sheets contain vehicle data. Each sheet can represent a different branch or vehicle category. The AI identifies the header row and data rows on each sheet automatically.

Branch Mapping

Map each sheet or data group to a branch in your organization. If sheet names match your branch names, the mapping happens automatically. Otherwise, use the dropdown to assign the correct branch. All imported vehicles will be assigned to their mapped branch.

Review & Confirm

Before importing, review the detected vehicles in a preview table. Check that makes, models, years, and prices look correct. You can edit individual values, skip rows with issues, or go back to adjust mappings. Click Confirm Import to add all validated vehicles to your inventory.

Common questions

How accurate is the AI column detection?
AI detection is highly accurate for common spreadsheet formats used by dealers. It handles English and Arabic headers, abbreviations, and non-standard layouts. Always review the detected mappings in the preview step — you can correct any mismatches before importing.
When should I use Smart Import vs regular import?
Use Smart Import when your Excel file doesn't follow the standard template — for example, files from other dealer systems, WhatsApp-shared spreadsheets, or files with Arabic headers. Use regular import when you've filled out the provided template exactly as designed.
Can Smart Import handle files with mixed data on one sheet?
Smart Import works best when each sheet has consistent vehicle data. If a sheet mixes vehicle data with summary rows, notes, or other content, the AI will attempt to identify only the vehicle rows. Review the preview carefully to ensure non-vehicle rows are excluded.
