Customer Information
The customer section shows the lead's name, phone number, email, and preferred contact method. Keep this information accurate — it's used for follow-up reminders and communication logging. You can edit customer details at any time.
Communication Log
Record every interaction with the lead: phone calls, WhatsApp messages, showroom visits, and test drives. Each entry captures the date, type of interaction, and notes. A complete communication history helps any team member pick up where the last conversation left off.
Convert to Deal
When a lead is ready to negotiate on a specific vehicle, use the 'Convert to Deal' action. You'll select the vehicle and set the initial asking price. The lead status changes to 'Converted' and a new deal is created in the pipeline. The lead's communication history carries over to the deal.
Mark as Lost
If a lead won't convert, mark it as Lost with a reason: price too high, bought elsewhere, no response, not ready to buy, or other. Lost reason tracking helps identify sales process improvements. Lost leads can be reopened if the customer returns.
Common questions
- Can I reopen a lost lead?
- Yes, change the status back from 'Lost' to 'New' or 'Contacted'. The lost reason is preserved in the history for reference. This is useful when a customer who previously walked away comes back interested.
- How do I schedule a follow-up?
- Set the follow-up date field on the lead detail page. When the date arrives, the lead will appear in your overdue/upcoming follow-ups on the dashboard. After completing the follow-up, log the interaction and set the next follow-up date.
