PDPL Record Support

Track consent records and data-request workflows that support your organization's privacy processes. Coverage is operational evidence, not a legal compliance determination.

What PDPL Requires

ShowOps lets you record the consent flag, method, and notes used by your business when collecting customer data. A record with consent counts toward the operational coverage indicator; missing consent is flagged for review. Ask your adviser what lawful basis and evidence your specific processing requires.

Reading the Status Banner

The banner at the top is green when 100% of records have consent — or when you have no leads or deals yet. It turns amber as soon as any record is missing consent. The number next to the banner is the count of records without consent; clicking through the leads/deals lists will let you fix them one by one.

Fixing Coverage Gaps

To raise consent-record coverage, review each flagged record and capture genuine customer consent using the method your business has approved. Do not tick the box or backfill a method unless the event actually occurred.

Common questions

Why is my coverage 100% when I have customers?
Coverage is an operational ratio for the records shown by this page; it is not a legal score. An empty data set may display full coverage because there are no missing records yet.
Does ticking the consent box send anything to the customer?
No. The consent flag is an internal record that you obtained the customer's permission — verbal, written, or via a signed form. ShowOps doesn't email or message the customer when you tick it. Make sure you've actually obtained consent before ticking the box.
What if a customer withdraws consent?
Untick the consent box on the lead or deal record. The record will then count as missing consent on this page. PDPL requires that you stop processing the personal data going forward — in practice, mark the record as closed and avoid further outreach to that customer.
