ShowOps

Privacy notice

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This notice explains the limited product telemetry used to operate and improve ShowOps. Customer records inside a dealership workspace are not product analytics data.

Current status

Product analytics is disabled until the telemetry policy, vendor retention, and access review are approved. Session replay is disabled in all environments and cannot be enabled by a remote setting.

Data used when analytics is approved

ShowOps may send coarse allow-listed events, a pseudonymous dealership key, role category, anonymous page category, and bucketed counts or timings. It does not send customer or staff names, email addresses, phone numbers, record IDs, VINs, exact prices, notes, document contents, form values, or page queries.

Purpose and lawful basis

The purpose is service reliability, security, workflow improvement, and aggregate feature adoption. The documented basis is the legitimate interest in operating and improving dealer-internal software, with data minimisation and an account-scoped opt-out.

Retention and access

Before analytics can be enabled, event retention must be limited to 30 days and historical recordings or direct identifiers must be deleted. Access is limited to authorised ShowOps platform administrators responsible for reliability and privacy, and is reviewed quarterly.

Your choice

A signed-in user can disable product analytics from Settings, PDPL Compliance. The preference is tied cryptographically to that account in the current browser, so another user on a shared device is not opted in or out by someone else's choice.

Requests and incidents

For access, objection, or deletion requests, contact ShowOps on WhatsApp at +968 7743 7012. If telemetry may have exposed personal data, ShowOps disables collection, restricts access, investigates, deletes affected data where possible, and follows applicable notification duties.
